Getting my artistic engines started. First pleasing sketches in ages. It's been too long since I've drawn or painted anything and I believe this to be great momentum for my painting a week challenge.

Take Your Marks

  I started this blog with intention to attempt a "Painting Challenge."  The goal is to complete one painting every week, for an entire year. It is almost mid August, but I plan to commence this challenge around the beginning of the new year (roughly).

  I recently realized I spend far too much time doing other things and have not forced myself into any artistic struggles since I graduated high school. I assume there will be some horrible results, some awesome results and more importantly, some growth. Then I thought, why not start a blog to show for it? So until the painting challenge, enjoy a look at some of my sketches and random projects.
